SB-98 Are You Ready To Take The Pledge?

The most important lesson I learned last year came from a mouse wrestling with a cracker.

In the video below a little bitty mouse tries to pick up a gigantic cracker and throw it 3 inches above his head so he can take it to his little mouse family for a nice dinner.

But guess what happens?

He fails.

The little mouse tries 32 different times to haul the cracker off. He throws it. Carries it. Vaults it…

…and every time he is defeated.

Finally, he takes a break, eats a little bit of the cracker, and on his 33rd attempt… he makes it!

And his sweet little mouse family dine like kings that night!

Why am I narrating a video about a mouse?

The point is: if you want it, get it.

Stop making excuses.

Excuse: I don’t have time.
Solution: You can make progress with workouts as short as 10 minutes. Wake up 10 minutes earlier.

Excuse: I don’t want to go the gym.
Solution: Do bodyweight workouts at home.

Excuse: I don’t know what to do.
Solution: Invest in yourself. Find a few minutes each day to follow along with the free emails I send.

Excuse: I can’t do it.
Solution: Yes, you can!

The world needs you to be at your best.

But first you have to stop making excuses.

It’s time to step up.

Do This First:

Share Travel Strong with one person who you know could use some encouragement:

(Did you know: data from MyFitnessPal shows that people who bring their friends along for the ride lose twice as much weight as those who go at it alone. You’re not a lone wolf. You’re a human being.)

Second:

Leave a comment below sharing your goal, and pledge to take it seriously.

Here is a template to get you started:

“Hi, my name is [your name]. My goal is to [your goal] by [date]. This is my pledge to take my goal seriously and put in the work it takes to get there.”

(I’ve already left my pledge below.)
