The 90 minute workshop will provide the floor for an open discussion of the Manifesto for Innovation in Europe.
The Manifesto (manifestoforinnovationineurope.org) is an open co-creation result with two main contributions: 1) A vision of the transformative role of Innovation in the Europe of the Digital Transformation. 2) A set of directions to start working in order to unleash the EU potential in terms of both innovation-led growth and societal transformation.
The participants will have the chance to talk and discuss with people who had a direct role in the edition of the document in its different phases. There will be the chance to criticize weak elements, clarify unclear points, propose potential modifications and understand the relevance of the Manifesto as a tool for the Living Lab community.
As an open co-creation process, the Manifesto has the chance to evolve and change to gain impact and effectiveness, and this workshop will be a great opportunity to create relevant material and make the Manifesto a strong, powerful, live tool.
Special guests from the area of Innovation of different international Institutions, including United Nations, will contribute with their view to the Manifesto, and the Manifesto will be put in context with other documents related to support to growth and investment in SME’s and industrial innovation, Open Innovation, Social Digital Innovation, etc.

The workshop will start with the public reading of the Manifesto.
Then, a reduced group of participants in their creation will provide their insights and strong points.
PART 2: External Context (20 minutes)
Participants of external organizations and ENoLL members will provide the context for other institutions, other manifestos for innovation, and liked-minded organizations.
PART 3: Open debate (40 minutes)
The participants will have the opportunity of going point by point analyzing the contributions of the manifesto in the format of open debate, which will be moderated by the organizers. The contributions will be summarized in a document of outcomes.
PART 4: Sumarisation (10 minutes)
The organisers will create a summary of the different contributions in the shape of a “Contributions of the OLLD participants to the Workshop on the Manifesto for Innovation in Europe”
In parallel, during the 90 minutes a local artist will create an on-the-fly graphical interpretation of the contributions in the shape of a comic. This material will be used for further communication of the outcomes and for visibility of the manifesto itself.
